Hunan issues over 4 million yuan in subsidies for elderly care services consumption.

According to the Hunan Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, since the implementation of the elderly care service subsidy program for moderately and severely disabled elderly people, a total of 14,259 consumption vouchers have been collected in Hunan Province, with 11,992 vouchers verified. The total subsidy issued is 4.03 million yuan, which has driven elderly care service consumption of 6.24 million yuan. The core of this policy is "subsidiary according to demand", and is not restricted by household registration. As long as they have resided in Hunan for a long time and intend to purchase home, community or institutional elderly care services within Hunan province, and have been professionally assessed as moderately, severely, or completely disabled elderly persons, they can apply for the subsidy.
