NDRC: Planning to advance a number of landmark and leading major projects in high-tech industries during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period.
On January 20th, the State Council Information Office held a press conference to introduce the implementation of the spirit of the Central Economic Work Conference and promote the good start of the "15th Five-Year Plan". Zhou Chen, Director of the National Economic Comprehensive Department of the National Development and Reform Commission, stated that looking ahead to 2026, China's economic structure will continue to improve, development momentum will continue to be new, and the overall development trend will continue to be positive. From a specific perspective, new technologies, new products, and new scenarios will become increasingly prominent. Currently, the NDRC is planning to promote a number of major emblematic leading projects in high-tech industries during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period. From an overall perspective, the role of innovation leading in key regions continues to strengthen. At present, China has 24 of the world's top 100 innovation clusters, ranking first in the world in terms of quantity consecutively. By 2025, China's digital economy value-added is expected to reach 49 trillion yuan, accounting for about 35% of GDP, and will create even greater market space in the future.
