On the evening of January 15th, Xiaomi Automotive stated in the latest episode of answering questions from netizens that they highly value the feedback on the unlocking mileage standard of Xiaomi HAD City Navigation Assistance. In order to allow more users to experience the City Navigation Assistance earlier while ensuring safety, they have optimized this unlocking mileage standard. In 2024, when Xiaomi Automotive opens the City Navigation Assistance function, they have set a requirement of 1000 kilometers of assisted driving safety mileage for this function. Subsequently, they received a large amount of feedback from various channels, with a general call to lower this threshold. After careful evaluation and communication with many users, Xiaomi Automotive will actively adopt everyone's suggestions and plans to lower this safety mileage requirement; it is expected to lower the safety mileage requirement for assisted driving in the next OTA software upgrade. Xiaomi Automotive reminds that although the threshold has been lowered, assisted driving does not equal automatic driving.
