The reporter learned from China National Railway Group Co., Ltd. that on February 8th, the national railway is expected to transport 13.25 million passengers, with plans to add 1688 extra passenger trains. In major high-speed rail corridors such as Beijing-Guangzhou, Beijing-Shanghai, and Beijing-Harbin, overnight high-speed trains will be added. Additionally, there will be a minimum 20% discount on tickets for some less popular routes, providing more choices for passengers. On February 7th, the national railway transported 13.81 million passengers, with safe and orderly transportation.
