On January 14, Wang Wentao, Secretary of the Party Group and Minister of the Ministry of Commerce, held a working meeting with Wang Yuyan, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Board of the China National Association of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives in Beijing. Wang Wentao stated that in recent years, the Ministry of Commerce and the Supply and Marketing Cooperatives have earnestly implemented the decisions and deployments of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council. Through multi-level and regular cooperation mechanisms, they have deepened cooperation in the construction of urban and rural markets, agricultural product circulation, and other aspects, achieving remarkable results. This year marks the beginning of the "14th Five-Year Plan". Wang Wentao hopes that both sides will continue to strengthen policy coordination and work together to activate the consumption potential of sinking markets, build a system for recycling renewable resources, and expand the scale of agricultural product trade, jointly implementing the major decisions and deployments of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China to boost consumption and promote comprehensive rural revitalization. This will contribute to the successful start and progress of the "14th Five-Year Plan".
