Recently, the Guangdong Financial Regulatory Bureau has taken action to clean up and rectify unauthorized "financial control" companies. On January 12th, the Guangdong Financial Regulatory Bureau announced that there are 61 operating entities within its jurisdiction that have not been approved to use the words "financial holding" or "financial group" in their names, and have the word "control" in their names. They are required to apply for cancellation or name change and business scope adjustment within three months.
