The sixth batch of national organized high-value medical consumables centralized procurement will be open for bidding.

On January 13th, the sixth batch of national centralized procurement of high-value medical consumables organized by the state is about to open in Tianjin. This procurement includes 12 types of medical consumables in two major categories: drug-coated balloons and urology interventions. These two types of consumables are used for conditions such as vascular stenosis and urinary system stone surgery. Bidding companies will enter the venue and submit application materials starting at 7:30 in the morning. The live bidding will start around 9:30, and the results of the centralized procurement will be announced this evening. Prior to this, the health insurance department has conducted five batches of national centralized procurement of high-value medical consumables, including coronary stents, artificial joints, spinal orthopedic devices, intraocular lens, sports medicine devices, cochlear implants, and peripheral vascular stents, covering a wide range of treatment fields such as cardiology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, and vascular surgery.
