The number of modern service industry agglomeration zones in Hubei Province has increased to 140.

Recently, the Development and Reform Commission of Hubei Province issued a notice, confirming that the New Yangtze River Media Digital Cultural and Creative Agglomeration Park, the China Wuhan Human Resources Service Industry Park, and 20 other industrial agglomeration zones have been designated as the sixth batch of modern service industry agglomeration zones in Hubei Province. With this, the number of modern service industry agglomeration zones in our province has increased to 140. Modern service industry agglomeration zones refer to regions with a certain level of concentration, industry aggregation, resource integration, and service integration, with a focus on a modern service industry or related industry as the core, leading development levels, complete supporting functions, scientific and standardized management, strong service support, and a certain level of agglomeration. They play an important role in guiding and supporting the agglomeration, integration, and high-quality development of modern service industries, nurturing and strengthening distinctive advantageous service industry sectors in various regions. The selected agglomeration zones in this round are concentrated in knowledge-intensive productive service industries such as technology, information, commerce, and finance, with prominent leading industries and concentrated innovative resources, possessing advantages in the province and even nationwide.
