On January 8th, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology held a meeting to comprehensively review the protection of aviation and railway radio frequencies in 2025, and to strategize for the radio frequency protection work in 2026. The meeting emphasized the need to vigorously promote the protection of aviation and railway radio frequencies to ensure the safety of people's lives and property. It was stressed to strengthen coordination, fully leverage the role of the inter-ministerial joint working mechanism for protecting aviation and railway radio frequencies, and to enhance organizational leadership, institutional development, capacity building, responsibility implementation, and publicity guidance. Especially at the end of the year and the beginning of the new year, practical measures should be actively taken to ensure the safe use of aviation and railway radio frequencies during the 2026 Spring Festival and the National People's Congress session.
