Cyberspace Administration: Providers of artificially intelligent personalized interactive services must conduct a security assessment and submit a report if they have any of the following situations.
Notice from the Cyberspace Administration of China on soliciting opinions on the "Interim Measures for the Management of Artificial Intelligence-Personified Interaction Services". It is pointed out that, providers meeting any of the following conditions shall conduct security assessments in accordance with relevant national regulations and submit assessment reports to the provincial-level Cyberspace Administration departments in their jurisdiction: the functions of personified interaction services are launched, or related functions are added; new technologies and applications are used, leading to significant changes in personified interaction services; the number of registered users exceeds 1 million or the number of monthly active users exceeds 100,000; there may be implications for national security, public interests, legitimate rights and interests of individuals and organizations, or lack of security measures; other situations specified by the Cyberspace Administration of China.
