Zhang Xiaogang: In 2025, the entire military deeply implements President Xi Jinping's thinking on strengthening the military, implements the new era military strategic guidelines, closely focuses on the goal of the centenary struggle to build the army, and focuses on war, unity, and new breakthroughs, accelerating the transformation of training and emphasizing real combat training. Firstly, we will deepen the deployment of the "intensive and specialized" group training mode for basic training, widely conduct mass military training and competition activities, increase training in real combat scenarios, complex environments, and extreme conditions, effectively consolidate the combat skills of officers and soldiers. Secondly, we will focus on command training, highlight practical combat training, strengthen specialized and refined training, emergency response training, optimize the closed kill chain, promote the integration of forces across domains, and forge systemic operational capabilities. Thirdly, we will enrich training methods by using "technology+" and extensively conduct base simulation and network training, focus on promoting training in new equipment, new forces, and new areas, accelerate the capability of generating new quality forces such as unmanned and cyber, and integrating them into the system.
