On Monday, the New York closing price of spot gold rose by 2.48%, reaching a new all-time high of $4449.18 per ounce, with continuous gains throughout the day. COMEX gold futures also rose by 2.16%, closing at $4482.30 per ounce, marking a new historical high as well.
