Guangxi CDC issues flu vaccine vaccination proposal, available for vaccination on weekends.

On December 19, the Autonomous Region CDC issued a "Proposal for Influenza Vaccine Immunization for the General Public", urging people without contraindications to actively receive the influenza vaccine. Currently, all vaccination sites in the region are open on weekends for vaccination, and residents can call for inquiries before going to the vaccination clinic. Vaccination is the most economical and effective way to prevent influenza. After receiving the influenza vaccine, targeted immune protection can be generated, effectively reducing the probability of infection. In the unfortunate event of infection, it can also significantly alleviate symptoms, shorten the course of illness, and reduce the risk of developing into severe illness or death. Therefore, the Autonomous Region CDC issued a proposal: residents over 6 months old without contraindications are encouraged to actively receive the influenza vaccine. Those who have not received the influenza vaccine can benefit from receiving it during the influenza season, as effective protective antibodies can be produced 2-4 weeks after vaccination.
