On December 22, the draft of the Childcare Services Law was submitted for the first review at the 19th meeting of the 14th National People's Congress Standing Committee. The draft consists of 8 chapters and 76 articles, including general principles, childcare institutions, childcare providers, service provision, guarantee measures, supervision and management, legal responsibilities, and supplementary provisions. The formulation of the Childcare Services Law aims to promote and regulate the development of childcare services, providing solid legal protection for the most vulnerable group of infants and young children under the age of three. It is an important measure to improve the support policies for childbearing, reduce the cost of raising a family, and improve the quality of the population. It is of great significance for building a child-friendly society, promoting high-quality population development.
