The average age of our country's labor force is 39.66 years old, and the average years of education for the labor force is 11.03 years. The Human Capital and Labor Economy Research Center of Central University of Finance and Economics recently released the "China Human Capital Report 2025," revealing the latest estimate of our country's human capital index. The report shows that the total human capital in our country is 43.7563 trillion yuan, with per capita human capital of 402,220 yuan, ranking the top 5 provinces to be Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Jiangsu, and Shandong. From 1985 to the present, the average age of our country's labor force has increased from 32.25 years old to 39.66 years old, and the average years of education for the labor force have increased from 6.14 years to 11.03 years. Among them, Beijing has the highest level of education among the labor force nationwide.
