On December 18th, Cui Dongshu, the Secretary General of the Passenger Car Branch of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, stated in an article that at the end of November, the national inventory of passenger cars in the industry was 3.79 million units, an increase of 380,000 units from the previous month and 590,000 units from November 2024, forming a seasonal feature of inventory rebound. Due to the poor market conditions in October and November, the inventory in November rose to a high level of 3.79 million units. The forecast team of the Passenger Car Branch has been very optimistic about the market since February, with an optimism level of 64% for the period before November and a satisfaction level of 13% in early December after November. The team's optimism level for the December market has reached 24%, which is a relatively conservative forecast compared to the manufacturers, and is looking forward to further subsidies in some regions.
