Shenzhen Development and Reform Commission Deepens Cross-Border Drone Logistics Cooperation with Hong Kong

On December 10th, Guo Ziping, secretary of the Party Group and director of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, conducted a research on the cross-border drone logistics pilot project between Shenzhen and Hong Kong. Guo Ziping visited the landing sites at the Wenjindu Port in Shenzhen, Sha Tin and Tuen Mun in Hong Kong to understand the low-altitude cross-border routes, entry and exit clearance arrangements, and infrastructure support. He listened to detailed explanations from the Hong Kong side on the structure of the low-altitude economic working group, the progress of the "regulatory sandbox" pilot, cross-border security clearance processes, and follow-up work. Guo Ziping stated that cross-border drone logistics transportation between Shenzhen and Hong Kong is an important initiative for the development of low-altitude economy in the Greater Bay Area. He hopes that both sides will promote a normalized cooperation mechanism, achieve marketization of low-altitude economic application scenarios, complete the commercial loop, jointly solve problems such as safety supervision, and strive to achieve cross-border maiden flight as soon as possible.
