BMW and Encory have launched direct battery recycling operations in Bavaria.

On December 15th, it was reported that the battery recycling capacity center, a collaboration between BMW Group and Encory, has officially opened in Bavaria. Once fully operational, the center will be able to recycle double-digit tons of battery materials annually and will employ approximately 20 staff. Encory is a joint venture between BMW Group and Interzero, one of Germany's largest environmental recycling companies.
