On February 6 local time, Hainan Airlines flight HU492, which was operating the Brussels to Beijing route, experienced a cracked windshield in the cockpit shortly after takeoff. The crew took decisive emergency measures, dumped fuel and safely returned to Brussels Airport. The flight was subsequently cancelled, and all passengers and crew on board were safe, with no reports of injuries.
