On December 5th, BYD held an extraordinary shareholders meeting in Pingshan, Shenzhen. Chairman and President Wang Chuanfu stated that for future development, BYD has identified several key directions: firstly, in the next 2 to 3 years, it will comprehensively focus on advancing electric and intelligent technologies, increase investment in research and development, launch more cutting-edge technological achievements, and continue to expand its technological advantage; secondly, it will address the marketing inertia that has developed in the past favorable market environment, and in the future will strengthen marketing and other supporting capabilities simultaneously, accurately meet user needs, and efficiently convert technological advantages into market competitiveness; thirdly, it will continue to increase efforts to expand into overseas markets.
