Good houses are built with standard materials, China's building materials industry has achieved new breakthroughs.

The China Building Materials Federation today released China's first "Guidelines for Selecting Good Materials," which will be formally implemented on January 1 next year. The guidelines quantify good materials into four major indicators: health, safety, green, and high quality, with particular requirements for controlling organic compound emissions. This provides a unified technical standard for the selection of good materials in building construction. In addition, the China Building Materials Federation also released seven groundbreaking technological achievements for the Chinese building materials industry by 2025, including: a "thinking" super "unmanned cement factory," ultra-pure silicon carbide created with lasers, super heat-insulating glass that resists glare, a digital platform for research and development, "super cool cement" that doesn't heat up when exposed to sunlight, temperature-resistant silicon-based aerogel, and a new generation of large-scale display glass. These achievements signify important progress in the technological innovation of the Chinese building materials industry in high-end materials, intelligent manufacturing, and green and low-carbon transformation.
