A fire broke out in an abandoned hotel in Minqing County, Fujian Province, but did not cause any casualties.

On December 3, the emergency management bureau of Minqing County, Fujian Province reported that a fire broke out at around 19:45 on December 2 at an abandoned hotel located at No. 75, Longgang Xincun, Meicheng Town, Minqing County. After the fire broke out, the main leaders of the Minqing County Committee and County Government, as well as other relevant leaders, rushed to the scene to organize the fire fighting efforts. By around 22:30, the fire was basically under control, with the main building extinguished and only a few scattered fire spots remaining. At 00:15 on December 3, the remaining fire was completely extinguished. The area affected by the fire was approximately 800 square meters, and there were no casualties. Currently, the investigation into the cause of the fire and the subsequent follow-up work are being carried out in an orderly manner.
