Beijing has abundant medical resources and experts in various disciplines, but in the past, the information systems of various hospitals were not interconnected. In recent years, through continuous promotion of information construction, Beijing has integrated the functions of appointment registration and report inquiry of all secondary and tertiary hospitals in the city into a unified platform. According to statistics from the Beijing Municipal Health Commission, the peak daily registration volume of the Beijing appointment registration unified platform has exceeded 130,000 times, and by 2025, the registration volume will reach nearly 25 million person-times, accounting for approximately 40% of the online appointment registration volume of secondary and tertiary hospitals in Beijing.
