On December 1st, the US Department of Commerce announced the initiation of the third sunset review of anti-dumping and countervailing duties on imports of citric acid and citrate salts from China. At the same time, the US International Trade Commission launched an industry injury investigation in connection with the third sunset review of anti-dumping and countervailing duties on imports of citric acid and citrate salts from China. The review will assess whether the cancellation of the current anti-dumping and countervailing measures would result in continued or renewed substantial injury to the domestic industry in the foreseeable future. Interested parties are required to register their responses with the US Department of Commerce within 10 days of the publication of this announcement. Interested parties are also required to submit their comments to the US International Trade Commission by December 31, 2025, and provide their substantive comments by February 12, 2026.
