OpenAI may embed advertisements in ChatGPT.

Recently, according to media reports, the latest beta version of the ChatGPT app for Android contains about a dozen lines of code marked as "featured advertisements", which include strings referencing commercial advertisements such as "search ads", "search ad carousel", and "marketplace content". Last month, there were reports that OpenAI is considering personalized advertising based on ChatGPT's memory of user interactions. It is reported that OpenAI is poaching top advertising talent from competitors like Google and Meta, while also posting advertising-related job postings on LinkedIn.
