The "15th Five-Year Plan" proposal suggests forward-looking layout of six future industries including hydrogen energy and nuclear fusion energy. Data shows that China's hydrogen energy industry is developing rapidly, with many technical indicators ranking first in the world. In Ningxia, the Ningdong Renewable Hydrogen Carbon Emission Reduction Demonstration Zone has provided nearly 11 million cubic meters of green hydrogen, achieving a carbon emission reduction of about 20,000 tons. As of the end of September this year, China's investment in clean hydrogen projects accounted for 30% of the global total, ranking first in the world. Wan Yanming, Secretary General of the China Hydrogen Energy Alliance, stated that China's green hydrogen production capacity has exceeded 220,000 tons per year, accounting for over 50% of the global total; over 540 hydrogen refueling stations have been built, accounting for 40% globally. At the same time, innovative technologies in the hydrogen energy industry continue to emerge, with the cost of hydrogen production from water electrolysis dropping to the range of 20-30 yuan per kilogram, a decrease of nearly 40% from 2020, driving breakthroughs in areas such as green ammonia, long-distance pipelines, and ocean hydrogen energy. During the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, China will accelerate the development of hydrogen energy on a large scale, striving to achieve renewable energy hydrogen production capacity of 100GW, and form a more complete hydrogen energy industry technology innovation system, clean energy hydrogen production and supply system.
