Jilin Province's new skiing season has started, and more than 800 ice and snow activities will be held.

On November 22, the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 new snow season and the 31st Jilin rime and ice festival was held in the Zhonglv Songhua Lake Resort in Jilin City, marking the official start of more than 800 ice and snow activities in Jilin Province. It is understood that the Jilin Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism will focus on launching three major policies, namely "ice and snow consumption vouchers," "ice and snow direct buses," and "attracting guests to Jilin," distributing 100 million yuan in ice and snow consumption vouchers to visitors and local residents inside and outside the province. Sun Guangzhi, director of the Jilin Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, said that Jilin Province will also host more than 800 cultural, tourism, sports, and trade activities, including the Jilin Ice and Snow Industry International Expo and the Changchun Lake Ice and Snow Fishing and Hunting Cultural Tourism Festival, with richer formats and more complete facilities to welcome guests from all over the world.
