According to the Economic Daily App, on November 20, the China Automobile Dealers Association released the semi-monthly report on the passenger car market in November 2025. It pointed out that in the first half of November, the performance of the passenger car market was relatively flat. The sales in the first half of November decreased by 2.2% compared to the same period in October, and decreased by 34.6% compared to the second half of October. In some regions, the trade-in for new cars and the subsidy policy for scrappage have been tightened, which has somewhat strengthened consumer's wait-and-see attitude; however, as the end of the year approaches, the preferential policy on new energy vehicle purchase tax will soon decline, and provinces such as Jiangsu and Guangdong have successively introduced a new round of car purchase subsidy policies, overlaid with dealers speeding up their sales pace to meet their annual targets, it is expected that the passenger car market will experience a certain degree of rebound in the second half of November.
