Leading in cross-border and cross-provincial delivery capabilities, Sichuan is leading the nation in the deployment of clean energy.

Since Sichuan power grid started to send electricity outside the province in 1998, the total outbound electricity volume has exceeded 1.9 trillion kilowatt-hours over 27 years. On November 19, it was reported by the State Grid Sichuan Provincial Power Company that this scale is equivalent to the total annual electricity consumption of Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui provinces, marking a significant achievement in implementing the "West-East Power Transmission" in Sichuan and optimizing the allocation of clean energy nationwide. Currently, the cross-provincial outbound capacity of Sichuan power grid has reached 62.6 million kilowatts, ranking first in the country.
