Huawei completes IMT-2020 promotion group 5G-A cellular IoT technology test.

On November 19th, according to the WeChat official account of the "5G Promotions Group", Huawei completed all the use cases of key technology tests for 5G-A cellular passive Internet of Things under the organization of IMT-2020 Promotions Group in October 2025. In this test, Huawei adopted a separated base station architecture based on 3GPP standards, including BBU/pRRU and auxiliary nodes, for the first time in the industry.
