The Fujian warship conducted its first real combat training at sea after joining the navy.

Recently, a carrier battle group composed of multiple warships such as the Navy's Fujian Ship, Yan'an Ship, and Tongliao Ship returned to a military port in Sanya after completing maritime training missions. This is the first real combat training mission carried out by the Fujian Ship since its commissioning. During the mission, various types of carrier-based aircraft such as the J-35, J-15T, J-15DT, and KJ-600 completed multiple launches and landings, effectively testing the Fujian Ship's electromagnetic catapult, recovery, and deck operation capabilities, and further verifying the adaptability of the ship's aircraft. Fujian Ship Commander Bao Yu mentioned: Through continuous real combat training, we have a more precise understanding of the performance of the electromagnetic catapult and arresting system, more proficient operation and use of various equipment, and more seamless coordination between various positions and carrier aircraft pilots, laying a solid foundation for the safe and efficient launching and recovering of carrier aircraft.
