Since its establishment on November 1, 2023, the China Free Trade Pilot Zone has taken institutional innovation as its core and implemented the enhancement strategy in depth. As of October this year, the reform pilot tasks have achieved 81.5% completion of stage results, exceeding the target of over 80% in the second year ahead of schedule, helping to build the core area of the Silk Road Economic Belt and promote the high-quality development of Xinjiang's economy and society. It was learned from the news conference on the construction of the Xinjiang Free Trade Pilot Zone on the second anniversary held on the 13th that in the past two years, the Xinjiang Free Trade Pilot Zone has accumulated 72 provincial-level institutional innovation achievements and promoted them throughout the entire region; more than 18,000 new enterprises have been established, with a total of 44,000; the import and export volume from January to September this year reached 155.331 billion yuan, accounting for nearly 40% of the total import and export volume in Xinjiang.
