The winning yield for the US 30-year Treasury bond auction exceeded the pre-issue trading level.

The US Department of the Treasury issued $25 billion of 30-year Treasury bonds with a bid-to-cover ratio of 4.694% on Wednesday. The pre-issuance trading level was 4.684% at 1 p.m. New York time when the bidding deadline closed, with the yield rising by approximately 1 basis point compared to the previous day. Following the announcement of the bidding results, the yield on the 30-year Treasury bond rose to an intraday high, increasing by around 3 basis points from Wednesday's close. The spread between the 5-year and 30-year yields rose to over 100 basis points, expanding by approximately 0.5 basis points from the previous day.
