Member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee and Director of the Central Foreign Affairs Office Wang Yi met with Nurtai Abykayev, Assistant to the President of Kazakhstan for International Investment and Trade Cooperation in Beijing on the 13th. Wang Yi stated that China is willing to deepen the traditional friendly relations between the two countries with Kazakhstan, build the "Belt and Road" initiative with high quality, promote cooperation in traditional areas such as energy, green mining, and connectivity, and explore cooperation in emerging fields such as nuclear energy and artificial intelligence. Kazakhstan has supported President Xi Jinping's global governance initiatives from the very beginning, and China appreciates this. Nurtai Abykayev expressed that Kazakhstan is willing to work together with China to implement the consensus reached by the two heads of state and promote the continuous advancement of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and China.
