According to the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the case of Zhu Zhisong, former member of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and former secretary of the Pudong New Area Committee, who is suspected of bribery, has been investigated and concluded by the National Supervisory Commission and transferred to the procuratorial organs for examination and prosecution. The Supreme People's Procuratorate has made an arrest decision on Zhu Zhisong on suspicion of bribery and designated the Nanchang People's Procuratorate in Jiangxi Province to review and prosecute the case. Recently, the Nanchang People's Procuratorate has filed a public prosecution with the Nanchang Intermediate People's Court. During the examination and prosecution stage, the procuratorial organs informed the defendant Zhu Zhisong of his litigation rights, questioned the defendant, and heard the opinions of the defense counsel. The procuratorial organs accuse the defendant Zhu Zhisong of using his positions as deputy director of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee's Propaganda Department, deputy secretary and mayor of the Minhang District Committee, secretary of the Minhang District Committee, deputy secretary of the Pudong New Area District Committee, secretary of the Party Working Committee and director of the Management Committee of the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone Lingang New Area, secretary of the Party Working Committee and director of the Management Committee of the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone Lingang New Area, member of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee, and secretary of the Pudong New Area Committee for personal gain, illegally accepting money and property from others in a particularly large amount, which should be held criminally responsible for the crime of bribery in accordance with the law.
