KPMG report: Multinational companies have more confidence in China's economic growth than in the global economy.
The 8th China International Import Expo was held in Shanghai from November 5th to 10th. The "2025 Cross-Border Enterprise China Outlook Report" released by KPMG at the Import Expo shows that despite uncertainties in the global macroeconomic environment, most multinational enterprises still maintain confidence in the Chinese market. More than half of the surveyed companies are optimistic about the economic growth in China by 2025, with this proportion further increasing to 64% in the outlook for the next 3-5 years. In contrast, multinational companies have more confidence in the growth of the Chinese economy than in the global economy. On the revenue side, confidence in income growth in the next 3-5 years has significantly strengthened, with 67% of multinational companies expressing moderate confidence, matching the relatively optimistic outlook for China's mid-term economic growth.
