China proposed a recommendation to strengthen cooperation on carbon standard within the World Trade Organization.

On the 4th, the World Trade Organization Trade and Environment Committee held its last annual meeting in Geneva, Switzerland. During the meeting, the Chinese delegation officially submitted a proposal entitled "Proposal on Strengthening Cooperation on Carbon Standard Discussions in the World Trade Organization," focusing on addressing the fragmented global carbon standard issue and proposing a specific path to promote trade and climate development through systematic cooperation.
