US stocks moved | Tesla (TSLA.US) fell more than 3% before trading due to multiple negative news pressures
According to the Securities Times, on Tuesday, Tesla (TSLA.US) fell more than 3% before the market opened, trading at $453.42. On the news front, the stock faces multiple negative factors. On the one hand, it is reported that Tesla is being sued for a serious car accident that occurred in Wisconsin in 2024. In this accident, a Model S sedan caught fire, resulting in the death of all five passengers inside as they were unable to open the doors due to a design flaw. On the other hand, on November 4th, the Norwegian sovereign wealth fund rejected a $1 trillion compensation plan for Tesla CEO Elon Musk, becoming the first major investor to make a decision on the plan. The fund expressed concerns about the size of the compensation plan, dilution effects, and the lack of risk mitigation measures for key personnel: "While we appreciate Musk's visionary creation of immense value, we are concerned about the total size of the reward, dilution effects, and the lack of risk mitigation measures for key personnel."
