Floods in central Vietnam have killed 28 people.
According to statistics from the Vietnamese government, as of the evening of October 31st, floods in central Vietnam have caused 28 deaths, 6 people missing, and 43 injuries. In addition, 91 houses have collapsed or been swept away by the floods, 181 houses have been damaged, and 133,034 houses have been flooded. The floods have also submerged 4,946 hectares of rice fields and over 800 hectares of fruit trees, causing more than 22,000 livestock and poultry to die or be swept away by the flood. Currently, 80 roads are temporarily closed.
