On February 29th, according to the statistics from the online car-hailing supervision information exchange system, as of January 31, 2024, a total of 339 online car-hailing platform companies nationwide have obtained online car-hailing platform operation permits, an increase of 2 compared to the previous period. Across the country, a total of 6.614 million online car-hailing driver certificates and 2.813 million vehicle transport certificates were issued, with a month-on-month increase of 0.6% and 0.7% respectively. The online car-hailing supervision information exchange system received a total of 911 million orders in January, an increase of 1.9% compared to the previous month.
In terms of the situation this month, the following characteristics are observed:
1. Among the top 10 platforms in terms of order volume, ranked by compliance rate (percentage of orders where both the driver and vehicle have permits), the highest to lowest compliance rates were achieved by Ruqi Travel, Xiehua Travel, Timely Car Rental, Enjoy Travel, Wanshun Taxi, T3 Travel, Sunshine Travel, Caocao Travel, Didi Travel, and Huaxiaozhu Travel. The top 3 platforms with the highest growth in compliance rates this month were Timely Car Rental, Huaxiaozhu Travel, and Wanshun Taxi; while the bottom 3 were Ruqi Travel (-0.4%), Enjoy Travel (-1.1%), and Sunshine Travel (-1.9%).
Among them, platforms that provide services to passengers in collaboration with online car-hailing platform companies (commonly known as "aggregator platforms") completed 252 million orders, a decrease of 2.4% compared to the previous period. The platforms ranked by compliance rate from high to low were Didi Travel, Gaode Taxi, Huaxiaozhu Travel, Ctrip Car Rental, Baidu Taxi, Tencent Travel, and Meituan Taxi.
2. Among the major central cities, ranked by compliance rate from high to low were Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Qingdao, Haikou, Tianjin, Nanchang, Fuzhou, Nanjing, Nanning, Lanzhou, Chengdu, Ningbo, Guiyang, Jinan, Chongqing, Zhengzhou, Xi'an, Hefei, Changsha, Wuhan, Changchun, Taiyuan, Xining, Hohhot, Shijiazhuang, Yinchuan, Harbin, Shanghai, Kunming, Dalian, Shenyang, and Beijing. Among them, 20 cities including Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Qingdao, Haikou, Tianjin, Nanchang, Fuzhou, Nanjing, Nanning, Lanzhou, Chengdu, Ningbo, Guiyang, Jinan, Chongqing, Zhengzhou, Xi'an, and Hefei had compliance rates of over 80%. The top 3 cities with the highest growth in compliance rates this month were Zhengzhou, Dalian, and Shijiazhuang; while the bottom 3 were Hefei (-1.3%), Nanjing (-1.4%), and Chongqing (-2.0%).
