Chifeng Jilong Gold Mining (06693) rose over 5% in morning trading, up 5.4% as of press time to HK$28.14, with turnover of HK$22.229 million. On the news front, Chifeng Jilong Gold Mining recently released its results for the first three quarters of 2026, reporting operating revenue of RMB10.087 billion, up 16.69% year-on-year, and net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company of RMB2.285 billion, up 11.05% year-on-year. Huatai believes that the revenue growth in the first three quarters was mainly driven by a 33.56% year-on-year increase in the average gold selling price to RMB974.44 per gram, while the slower profit growth compared with revenue was mainly due to a 38.71% year-on-year increase in the all-in sustaining cost per unit of self-produced gold and a 4.32 percentage point year-on-year rise in the income tax rate to 34.16%. Ping An Securities noted that on October 22, 2026, the company completed a change of control, with Zijin Gold becoming the company's controlling shareholder. The company is expected to draw on Zijin Mining Group's global mine operation experience and leverage its technical advantages in geological exploration and deep-level prospecting to systematically advance exploration work at its mines, further increase resources and reserves, expand the scope for prospecting and reserve growth, and drive project output increases, thereby transforming resource advantages into production capacity advantages.
