Rezera plans to list on Nasdaq to raise $100 million; its oral NLRP3 inhibitor will enter a Phase 3 PAD trial, with data readout in 2028.
Rezera is a Phase 3-ready biotech company developing oral NLRP3 inhibitors for inflammatory diseases. The company filed for an IPO with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Wednesday, with the filing listing a proposed fundraising size of $100 million (a placeholder figure).
Rezera is developing oral inhibitors of NLRP3, an upstream driver of sterile inflammation, for the treatment of cardiovascular and neuroinflammatory diseases. Its lead candidate ruvonoflast has completed two Phase 2 trials in cardiometabolic diseases; the company plans to launch a Phase 3 trial in peripheral artery disease (PAD) in the first half of 2027, with data expected in 2028. The company is also developing trabzanoflast, a blood-brain barrier-penetrant NLRP3 inhibitor that has completed a Phase 1 trial for neuroinflammatory indications. The company retains global rights to all of its candidates.
Founded in 2016, the company plans to list on Nasdaq under the ticker RZRA.US. Rezera confidentially submitted its listing application on July 7, 2026. Jefferies Financial Group Inc., TD Securities and Cantor Fitzgerald are serving as joint bookrunners for the offering, with pricing terms not yet disclosed.
