XINTE ENERGY (01799) rose over 4% in the afternoon. As of press time, it was up 4.00% at HK$3.9, with a turnover of HK$5.9445 million. On the news front, according to Baiinfo, multiple polysilicon enterprises responded to the production cut call in October by lowering their monthly scheduling plans, resulting in a significant decline in overall industry output, with scheduling falling from 116,000 tons in September to 91,600 tons in October. The overall industry operating rate remained at 32%. Combined with the scheduling plans of various polysilicon enterprises, capacity reduction exceeded capacity release, and overall output declined notably, with the supply side providing strong support for prices. Xinda Futures previously released a research report stating that market rumors suggest post-holiday inspections will be conducted on the implementation progress of production cuts across regions in the polysilicon industry, and energy consumption assessments will be temporarily suspended during the production cut period. In September, the industry's polysilicon overall showed a trend of increased production. Attention should be paid to whether there will be production cuts after the October holiday, once the wet season ends, and given the industry-wide inspection rumors.
