HENG TAI (00197) intends to delay the publication of its 2026 annual results.

HENG TAI (00197) announces that the Board wishes to inform shareholders and potential investors of the Company that the Company will not be able to publish its annual results for the year ended 30 June 2026 (the 2026 Annual Results) by 30 September 2026. After careful and thorough consideration, the Board is of the view that it is not appropriate for the Company to publish unaudited management accounts at this stage, as such accounts may not accurately reflect the financial performance and/or position of the Group and may be misleading to investors and shareholders. The Company will publish further announcement(s) in due course to inform shareholders and potential investors of any material progress in respect of the 2026 Annual Results. Notwithstanding the delay in publication of the 2026 Annual Results, the business operations of the Company remain as usual and no part of its business has been affected. Pursuant to Rule 13.46(2) of the Listing Rules, the Company is required to despatch to shareholders the annual report for the year ended 30 June 2026 (the 2026 Annual Report) within not more than four months after the end of the Company's financial year (i.e. on or before 31 October 2026). Due to the delay in publication of the 2026 Annual Results, a delay in the despatch of the 2026 Annual Report is expected. Should the delay in despatch of the 2026 Annual Report materialise, it will constitute non-compliance with Rule 13.46(2) of the Listing Rules. The 2026 Annual Report is expected to be despatched by the end of November 2026.
