On the news front, according to LIVZON PHARMA's official WeChat account, recently, Mao Haizi Animal Health, an associate company of LIVZON PHARMA, announced that its self-developed Mao Haizi doxycycline oral paste has been officially approved for marketing. This product is China's first paste-form broad-spectrum antibiotic, indicated for infectious diseases caused by doxycycline-sensitive bacteria in dogs and cats.
Industry data shows that antibiotics are a rigid demand in canine and feline outpatient care, with approximately 29% of dogs and cats visiting hospitals receiving antibiotics. Among oral antibiotics for dogs and cats, doxycycline ranks among the most frequently used, holding important clinical significance especially in scenarios such as upper respiratory tract infections. The main ingredient of Mao Haizi doxycycline oral paste is doxycycline monohydrate, whose aqueous solution has a pH value close to neutral, posing a low risk of esophageal burns. The active pharmaceutical ingredient is self-developed by LIVZON PHARMA, helping to achieve full-chain quality control from raw materials to finished formulations.
