On Monday, influenced by Denmark and Greenland being set to sign a security agreement with the US, Greenland Energy Company (GLND.US) rose over 145%; Greenland Mines (GRML.US) rose nearly 150% at its peak, while Critical Metals (CRML.US) climbed more than 30% at one point. US President Trump posted on social media that the United States, Denmark, and Greenland have reached an agreement involving security matters, which "grants the United States permanent control over Greenland's security and other needs." The Danish Prime Minister's Office and the Greenlandic autonomous government stated they hope to sign the agreement next week to strengthen security in the Arctic and North Atlantic China Welding Consumables,Inc. region. Danish Prime Minister Frederiksen said the agreement recognizes the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Denmark, as well as the right of the people of Greenland to self-determination.
