On the news front, on September 20, Xiaomi founder, chairman and CEO Lei Jun announced the all-new Xiaomi 18 Pro series, set to be launched at 7 PM on September 23. Multiple other tech new products will also be unveiled at the same event. Earlier, on September 7, the Xiaomi 18 Fold foldable phone was officially released. Lei Jun said at the launch event that this product debuts with Xiaomi's self-developed chip, the Xuanjie O3 AI flagship processor, and a 6000mAh battery, making it the most high-end Xiaomi phone to date. It is worth mentioning that Lei Jun posted that the Xiaomi Pengcheng has been officially released for nearly two weeks, and everyone's enthusiasm has far exceeded expectations, with a livestream planned for 7 PM on September 21. It is reported that the Xiaomi Pengcheng series was officially launched on September 7, with over 10,000 units locked in within 4 minutes. Industrial pointed out that the two Pengcheng extended-range SUV models are pre-sold at 259,900 yuan/299,900 yuan, highly complementary to the SU7 user base, and with a 4-month delivery cycle within the year after its September launch, it is expected to become a core sales increment in the second half of the year.
