AKESO (09926) opened more than 4% higher, up 4.49% as of press time, at HK$94.35, with a turnover of HK$13.5864 million. On the news front, according to AKESO's official WeChat account, at the 2026 World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC) hosted by the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC), the company's globally first-in-class tumor immunology 2.0 cornerstone drug ivonescimab (brand name: Yidafang) versus pembrolizumab, in the randomized, double-blind, controlled, multicenter, registrational Phase III clinical study (HARMONi-2/AK112-303) for first-line treatment of PD-L1-positive (PD-L1 TPS1%) locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), released significant positive overall survival (OS) results. This research finding was selected by the conference as an oral presentation as a Late-Breaking Abstract (LBA), and was also selected for inclusion in this WCLC's official press release program. To date, ivonescimab has achieved dual positive results in both OS and PFS in multiple Phase III clinical trials of head-to-head comparisons against PD-1/L1 therapies, and is gradually expanding into major solid tumor areas beyond lung cancer.
