Cig Shanghai (06166) rose by 14.74% to HKD 110.9; Zhongji Innolight (03308) increased by 8.75% to HKD 1094.0; TIME INTERCON (01729) was up 5.52% to HKD 17.6; and YOFC (06869) climbed 4.33% to HKD 166.3. In terms of news, OpenAI recently announced the release of GPT-6Astra, touting it as the most intelligent model globally and one with the highest degree of alignment. Galaxy Securities pointed out that the launch of Astra further validates that cutting-edge model training remains in an expansion phase characterized by ultra-large clusters, heavy capital investment, and strong interconnectivity reliance. The scale of computational power for model training is expected to progress from the 10^26 FLOPs level towards the 10^27 FLOPs level. The firm noted that the most direct beneficiaries are high-speed optical module chains of 800G/1.6T/and future 3.2T. It is worth noting that Goldman Sachs has initiated coverage of Zhongji Innolight's H-shares with a "Buy" rating and a target price of HKD 3267. The bank's net profit forecasts for Zhongji Innolight in 2026 and 2027 exceed the market's expectations by 25% and 42%, respectively, based on assumptions of higher revenue and gross profit margins. Goldman Sachs analysts indicated in their report that these expectations reflect a positive assessment of Zhongji Innolights leading position in silicon photonics modules, the accelerated mass production of 1.6T and above solutions, supply chain stability, production base diversification, and manageable competition in co-packaged optics.
