Zhejiang Anglikang Pharmaceutical (002940.SZ) announced that the company signed a "License Agreement for Strategic Cooperation" with Afy (Shanghai) Biopharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Afy Biotech") and Shanghai Qinhuli Biopharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Qinhuli") on August 26, 2025.
Recently, the company received a notification letter from Afy Biotech and Qinhuli regarding the termination of the "License Agreement for Strategic Cooperation." According to the "Termination Notification Letter," due to comprehensive considerations regarding the overall strategic layout and priority of the development pipeline, the partners have made a prudent decision to independently advance the R&D, production, and commercialization of the IMD-1005 project in the agreed area at this stage, without pursuing external licensing to collaborate with third parties. Given the aforementioned strategic adjustments by the partners, as of the announcement disclosure date, the conditions for the effectiveness of the "License Agreement for Strategic Cooperation" (specifically, approval by the Afy Biotech board of directors) have not been fulfilled, and this cooperation matter has essentially been terminated.
